Fantastic feed me lunch. Perfect, super fresh food, great gins and wine list (inc premium by the glass), tops kids menu and brilliant service. Plus excellent value.
What a delight! Comfortable seating, attentive friendly but not intrusive staff, thoughtful food and drinks. Historical inn yet modern and light. Loved the experience.
This is a must visit when you come to the area. Fantastic food, fantastic staff and a great wine and gin list. Did I mention fantastic food?! Just delicious.
Busy but service is always good and friendly and the food is great. They have a Feed Me option which consists of a fabulous series of dishes that leaves you feeling more than satisfied (couldn't squeeze another thing in!). They also do the Feed Me option for vegans and vegetarians. We had the vegan option and rest of family had the meat options and it was truly enjoyed by all. Do yourself a favour and get yourself to the Salopian Inn.
Steak was pretty ordinary considering the price. Had the 350gm rump which would be lucky to have been 250gm. It was cooked well but the cut of meat was supposed to be grass fed beef rump. It was tough and not as good as I have had at a much cheaper pub meal. Need to get a better butcher!!!!
